The Cagni Foundation C4 works alongside the Musée des Arts Décoratifs to reduce inequalities in access to cultural practices and to careers in the arts and crafts.
The Cagni Foundation C4 is committed to supporting the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in reducing inequalities in access to culture, by enabling students from priority education networks to discover different craft professions through the museum and a range of hands-on activities.
A key institution in France’s cultural landscape, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs brings together two museums with unique collections, a library of over 200,000 volumes, a school, and art workshops and educational programs. Within this non-profit association (under France’s 1901 law), The Cagni Foundation C4 provides funding and helps develop educational projects, particularly for children from vulnerable or disadvantaged backgrounds.
Since 2021, The Cagni Foundation C4 has been involved in the major annual theme “Discovering Craft Professions”, with the aim of making culture more accessible to all. The program includes a wide range of initiatives combining museum collection visits, meetings with artisans, discovery of traditional know-how, and related training paths.
The Cagni Foundation C4 also supports the “Family Discovery Weekends”, a special opportunity for parents to become more involved in their children’s learning and to strengthen family bonds by sharing a meaningful experience together.
