The Cagni Foundation C4 supports access to an educational environment that enables students from disadvantaged neighborhoods to thrive, alongside the association Espérance Banlieues.
More than 80,000 young people leave the education system each year without any qualifications. The challenges that accumulate in the most disadvantaged areas are major obstacles that weigh heavily on schools and make it harder to deliver on the promise of equal opportunity.
In response to these challenges, Eric Mestrallet founded Espérance Banlieues in 2017. In less than six years, this network has created 17 schools, offering children in underserved neighborhoods an innovative educational approach. These schools aim to bridge learning gaps and provide students with the tools they need to succeed throughout their academic journey.
The Espérance Banlieues network strives to create a supportive learning environment where students can grow and flourish, by implementing teaching methods tailored to their specific needs. The schools encourage academic excellence while also providing individualized support and developing non-academic skills such as self-confidence, perseverance, and leadership.
By supporting Espérance Banlieues, The Cagni Foundation C4 is backing a project and a team fully dedicated to children in the most disadvantaged neighborhoods and to making equal opportunities a reality.
