Jean is Associate at C4 Ventures where he evaluates new investment opportunities and supports portfolio companies.
Before joining C4 Ventures, where he started as Analyst before being promoted to Associate, Jean earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from Northwestern University in the US, publishing research on neutrino physics in Physical Review Letters. He later pursued an MBA at HEC Paris, where he specialized in finance and led the Venture Capital branch of the MBA Finance Club.
Jean began his career as a researcher, applying advanced mathematical and computational techniques to study some of the Universe’s most beautiful hidden secrets. He has since transitioned to venture capital, combining scientific expertise with financial insight to evaluate and support cutting-edge technologies.
Outside of work, he is passionate about tennis, hiking, and applying the scientific method to everything he encounters.
